Alain Hudelot-Noellat’s, Vosne Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots 2009 – Young Phenom

Thursday, March 29th, 2012

Ok, this is a repeat of my little splurge this past Monday.  Here it is Wednesday, two days later and wow, my week keeps getting better and better.  Indulging in this bottomless pit of pleasure is the beauty of wine.  Welcome to my world and allow me to introduce you to my second discovery within the last two days- -Alain Hudelot-Noellat’s Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Suchots 2009.  The sheer depth of  spice and smoke enveloped by a refined concentration of earth and fruit is everything we Burgundy lovers seek out in distinct terroir driven wines.  Les Suchots is situated just north of Grand Cru vineyards Les Richebourg and Romanée Saint-Vivant.

Maturation is a beautiful thing and this wine will be well worth the wait.

I hope you’ve snagged this one!!!
